Poppy and Gigi came to visit us the weekend before Halloween. I went to pick them up at the airport on Thursday afternoon and then the three of us went to get Reagan, Landon and Aaron from school. The kids were very excited to have Poppy and Gigi pick them up. We came back to our house and began getting ready to go watch Auburn play West Virginia in what we thought would be a good game. We went over to Brad and Wendy's to watch the game and boy were we disappointed by Auburn once again.

Friday did not turn out exactly how anyone planned. We didn't have anything major to do but I woke up early in the morning on Friday with a stomach virus. This virus kept me down and out all day. Chuck was very glad that we had Poppy and Gigi with us when the virus struck because they were a huge help with keeping the kids entertained and occupied. Believe it or not I don't think Landon even realized I wasn't with him for most of the day.
Saturday was a much better day. While the guys and Wendy watched football, Reagan, Gigi and I went to the mall to go shopping. We had a great time and even got some Christmas gifts bought. After shopping most of the day we headed back to Brad's to do some pumpkin carving with the kids. We had the best time drawing their faces and then carving them out. Aaron's pumpkin was the first done and he named his Jack. Reagan's was next and she named hers Barbie and last was Landon's and Reagan named his Batman. They were very proud of their pumpkins and loved when Brad showed them how they light up with a candle.
Sunday was a very sad day as it was the day Poppy and Gigi had to leave. I took them over for Brad to take them to the airport and when I got home I had two very sad children. We are going to continue to work on getting them to move out here to us. Maybe one day!!!
