Houston Rodeo

The Houston Rodeo is in town every year for the whole month of February and this year we went one Sunday morning. Of course we had never been before but everyone was telling us how much fun the kids would have and that it was a must do every year. They were completely right. They have a special kids section that is all kiddie rides and petting zoos and a market where they learn where food actually comes from. We had a blast. You will see in the pictures that they also have tons of tractors that you can look at and sit on which made Landon's whole day. The kids rode several rides and then we went and toured the tractors. We had to fight Landon to get him off the tractors so that the other people waiting in line could have a turn. That's right we waited in line for him to be able to sit in these huge tractors and then scream when he had to get down. We will definately go back for years to come.

On the carousel.

Reagan in the big tractor.

Landon in his element.

Waiting in line to get in the tractor.

Landon on a different tractor. Can you tell
how much he loves them.

Sitting in the huge wheel.

The first tractor we came to.

Having a snack!!

Planting tomatoes like Poppy!!

Looking at the horse.

Riding Aladdin.

Riding the elephants. I thought Landon might be
a little afraid of the rides. I was soooo wrong.

We finished our day with ice cream but Landon's
somehow ended up all over him instead of in
his tummy.
